I watched a documentary about the Swedish artist Amanda Bergman and her band Amason. She and her husband somehow manage to combine music and running a farm. Impossible, many would say. But they do it anyway.
She summed it up perfectly when she said:
Nothing happens unless you’re a fool sometimes.
So true — a fool, according to others.
Where’s the joy or progress in always being wise and playing it safe? Where would the world be if no one had dared to go with their gut instead of reason? How much progress would have been lost if everyone had chosen comfort over courage?
Dare to be a fool.
