A few days ago, I wrote about a growing idea to split this blog into two. I’ve been experimenting with that idea behind the scenes for a few days, and now I have a much clearer sense of what the right path is, at least for the moment.
The blog will remain as it is.
That became obvious almost as soon as I started putting the new idea into practice. It felt forced, limited, cumbersome, and, honestly, a bit boring.
I found myself wondering which text would fit on which blog. Which one should I prioritize? More and more unanswered questions kept piling up.
Everything pointed in the same direction. The best course of action was to stay put, for now. I had more or less made up my mind when a post by Kev Quirk showed up in my feed: Why Have Multiple Blogs?
That sealed it. The final piece fell into place.
So, for the time being, this blog will continue to cover everything from Swedish fika and cinnamon buns to blog tattoos and writing as meditation.
All in one delightful mess.
