Don't let the old man in

When actor Clint Eastwood was asked how he managed to be so full of energy at 88 years old, he replied:

"I don't let the old man in."

What a great way to put it. So true. Not letting the old person in is the ultimate longevity recipe.

Staying curious. Having hobbies and projects. Being genuinely interested in today's world and the people in it.

Not being trapped in the past. Living in the moment while also making plans and setting goals.

It doesn't have to be anything grand, just something to look forward to. Something that keeps the momentum going...

Staying up to date with the world we're living in. Discovering new sights and sounds. Meeting new people and being eager to hear what they have to say, whether you agree with them or not.

When we keep an open door to life, the old person can't come knocking.
