Feeling non-adult
I'm soon turning 54, but I don't feel like an adult.
It's not that I feel like a child. I just feel "non-adult".
When do you become an adult?
I don't have any children myself, is that why I don't see myself as an adult? Is it because I still have parents alive and in a way am someone's child?
Or is it the interest in new trends and new technology that keeps the child's mind alive? The curiosity to explore new things and places? The joy of discovering new music and movies?
I don't know. All I know is that I'm 53 and feel like a non-adult.
Do you have to become an adult in the "adult" way?
I hope not.
