Full of life
Just got back home from a birthday party. My nephew turned 10.
It always makes me so happy to see him happy. Not just on his birthday. He always has this aura of joy and contentment.
Excited about his visit to Stockholm tomorrow, he told me about the new football shoes he's going to buy with the money he's been saving up. He's also kept all his old shoes and once said:
"I want to be able to look back at my career."
Big dreams. Big confidence. Big smile.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a professional. The determination is there, together with the joy for the sport. A recipe for success.
Hearing about his future dreams and past victories is like watching an inspiring TED talk. It's impossible not to get excited and inspired.
To put it briefly, he's full of life.
