Last day in Chiang Mai
It's my last day in Chiang Mai. The plane home to Sweden leaves in just a few hours. Feeling a bit melancholic, actually.
At the same time, it feels good to leave with some longing remaining. It's so easy to stay too long in a good place. Better to be a superstar who quits at the top of their career than one who doesn't understand when it's time to call it a day. Perhaps it's this lingering desire that makes the return all the more sweeter.
I leave with a longing to return. ❤️🇹🇭
Even though I've visited new places every day, I still have a long list of spots to explore. That's one of the things I love about Chiang Mai—there's an abundance of fantastic cafes and restaurants, and new gems are constantly popping up.
My laptop carries traces of some of the places I've visited—both in the form of stickers and sticky rice stains. But my Google Maps profile is even more well-filled, and there's more to come...
Until next time, Chiang Mai:
Chok Dee!
