From making to creating

When I was prescribed the “don't quit blogging” medicine, my first question wasn’t how long I needed to take it or whether it was safe to have a glass of wine. My first question was whether it could have any negative effects on creativity.

Maybe a stupid question, but that’s how important creativity is to me. It feels like I’d implode if that outlet were damaged.

As a creative person, I also think it's important to nourish that part of yourself. Not just by being creative, but by living your life fully.

Challenging yourself now and then instead of always settling for what’s safe, simple, and standard. Exploring new environments, meeting new people, trying new things.

A step into the unknown. A place where everything we’ve ever learned begins. A space where we grow.

That’s how we go from making to creating.
