My blog mess
I've said it before and I'll say it again: blogging for me is the ultimate creative outlet. You get to share your thoughts, stumble upon likeminded people, play around with themes, and create little add-ons and other fun stuff.
I love it! Maybe a bit too much. I tinker, fiddle, and create so many things that I get lost, hardly remembering what I've made. Creating experimental tweaks here and there.
So, I'm once again at this place where I feel I need to stop, take a step back, and sort things out. Not removing things or cutting down on writing, just get a grip of what I have cooking in my blog lab.
This time I decided to go bear minimum when it comes to the design for my blog. Stripping away almost everything to get a good sense of how things look without cosmetic CSSurgery.
The next step is trying to make as much as possible look decent simply by relying on standard markup. No fancy tricks, just plain semantic HTML.
So far, it's felt both fun and refreshing. A bit challenging at times, in an inspirational way.
That said, some parts of my blog will look a bit off for the next couple of days. So please Bear with me while I'm cleaning up my den.
