No guarantees

A coworker had a car accident today. Luckily, he's okay, but he was pretty shaken up. I was in a serious car accident a few years ago, so I know the feeling.

It's strange how life is; everything can change in a split second.

Is it sad, tragic, and unfair? It might seem that way a lot of the time. Is it wrong or personal? No, but it's easy to believe so…

"It's always me who gets hurt."

But we've all signed the same contract. We're born into a life without any guarantees. It's neither right nor wrong, it's life.

When we realize this, we don't need guarantees.
