Bearming theme 5.4.0 is a refinement release focused on consistency and restraint. The blockquote gets a simpler default — just a left accent border, no background — with the card style moving to add-ons where it belongs. The light background shifts to a cleaner neutral, the header title scales back to let content headings lead, and a handful of logical property fixes tighten things up under the hood. The bundled add-on set is trimmed down to footnotes only. Less is more.

Version 5.5 is a refinement release - no new features, just the theme getting sharper. Keyboard navigation now has proper focus styles. Body text links get a subtle underline for accessibility. The header title scaled back to give post titles room to breathe, and the nav got a matching size and weight to go with it. A few small consistency fixes throughout. Figure caption: added figure > p { margin-block: 0 } to cancel Bear's auto-wrapped paragraph margin inside figure elements.
