Cinnamon buns at Tösse
Cinnamon buns are all the rage in Sweden today. That's because it's October 4th, which means we're celebrating Cinnamon Bun Day here. A delicious pastry and perfect with a cup of coffee for a genuine Swedish fika.
Most workplaces are treating their staff to cinnamon buns today. I wasn't satisfied with just that, though, so I also bought one from my favorite bakery, Tösse.
This beloved pastry even found its way into the computer world when email started to become widespread. Many people chose to call the @ symbol cinnamon bun because of its resemblance. But today, most people say "at" or use the Swedish term, "snabel-a" (trunk-A 🐘).
Never had a Swedish cinnamon bun? Well, you’re missing out—they’re like the Swedish version of a warm, cuddly hug. Why not whip up a batch this weekend and see what all the fuss is about?
