Let go of all fear. Let go of all guilt. Let go of it all. Let go of whatever was and walk into what is.

The words could’ve come straight out of any self-help book. But they didn’t. They were spoken by a trainer during a boxing match in the movie Creed 3.

Still, words of wisdom.

Our fear and guilt weigh us down and keep us from living up to our full potential. We’re afraid of failure, of not being enough, of not having what it takes, of being disappointed, of making a fool of ourselves...

“Let go of whatever was and walk into what is.”

That’s what it’s all about.

Of course, what was is a part of who we are. It’s our quiet life coach, always teaching us, always helping us grow. But we don’t need to keep dragging it into the here and now. It’s already there in the background, doing its job for us. That’s enough.

We learn from the past, we aim for the future, but our main focus belongs in the present. That’s how we move forward, from failure to success.
