A winning mindset
I came across these words on a tea bag label:
We are born wise, we are born complete.
If that’s true, then what’s the point of living? Why have goals at all? If we’re already “perfect,” why bother trying to achieve anything?
I actually believe we are born both wise and complete. But I also think we have every reason to keep learning, exploring, and growing.
If we go through life believing we’re incomplete — that we have to “become someone” before we can feel whole — life turns into a constant struggle. We’ll never be satisfied. That mindset will follow us no matter what we accomplish.
But if we know deep down that we already carry the essential things within us, our journey through life becomes one of calm curiosity and excitement.
When we live from that place, we don’t just enjoy life more, we also stand a better chance of achieving whatever it is we set out to do.
That’s what I call a winning mindset.
