Write every day

A short reminder for me, and maybe for you:

Write every day.

Even when inspiration feels miles away. It’s better to write something than nothing.

It doesn’t have to be clever or long. One word, one sentence, one page, it doesn’t matter. Just write, write, write.

Make writing as natural as eating or sleeping. Let go of all thoughts about what “real writing” should be. Just write for the sake of writing.

All texts — long or short, fact or fiction, typed or handwritten — have one thing in common:

They all begin with a single character.

Keep writing.
